Broski’s step-by–step detailing process will get you the results you want. This guide will show you how to get your car looking like new – important link!
Step 1 Pre-Wash Prep
It’s best to start by giving the whole thing a good rinse. It’s like shaking out crumbs before you vacuum. This helps to remove dirt that is loose and will prevent scratches while washing. Grab your high-pressure hose, and give it a thorough wash.
Step 2: Two-Bucket Method
Two buckets are used for this wash. One bucket will be used for washing mitts with soapy water. The other bucket will be used to rinse your mitt. To prevent grime spreading, dip in soap, scrub one section, and rinse in the clean bucket. It’s like doing dishes, except way more satisfying.
Step 3: The Wheels Come First
You wheels are magnets of brake dust, road gunk and other grime. Start by cleaning your wheels with a special brush and wheel cleaner. Do not forget to reach into all the corners and crevices.
Step 4 Suds Up
You’re ready to lather now that you’ve prepared! Use a pH balancing car shampoo. Gravity can be your friend. The roof is the first thing to tackle, followed by windows, doorways, and the lower panels.
Step 5 Rinse, then Dry
Rinse thoroughly your car with clean water after you have scrubbed every inch. If you want to avoid streaks, use microfiber cloths or a leaf blower. This is not just for fall leaves!
Step 6 – Clay Bar Treatment
Consider it an exfoliation for your vehicle’s skin. Then spray some lubricant over a small part and rub the clay bar on it until it’s as smooth like butter. This removes contaminants from the surface that washes missed.
